Southampton Association Scholarship
Two 2016 Southampton High School graduates were given the Southampton Association Scholarship in Memory of Arthur B. Schoen, Jr. Both will receive a grant of $4,000 for each year of college. It is one of the largest single local scholarships and has been helping graduates of Southampton High School for over twenty years.
Shown are Ariel Tello who will attend the University of Rochester, Bruce R. Bockmann, a member of the Southampton Association Board, and Maria Castillo who has enrolled in Hunter College.
The Southampton Association scholarship program has awarded over 50 scholarships to graduates of Southampton High School and assisted 138 graduating seniors in 2001 by funding a $21,000 shortfall in one of the high school scholarships.
